John Myers vs William and George McKay

Description: Bill of complaint filed by John Myers against William and George McKay for an unpaid promissory note of eighty-six dollars and twenty-five cents. Signed J. Graeter. John Myers states that the McKayes may leave the territory and requests a Writ of Ne exeat. He has a bond of one hundred and seventy-five dollars. The McKayes must post a security of one hundred seventy-two dollars and fifty cents or be taken into custody. Signed Robert Buntin, Clerk. William Polke and James MCCall, defendants gave plaintiff one horse saddle and bridle as security. Included is a subpoena for James Nabb to testify in the case October 1, 1817.
