Sale of Francois Duguindre's Land

Description: Bond of Pierre Brouilette, guardian of Francois Duguindres minor children to John and William Hamilton. Describes the sale of land of Francois Duguindre who was of Indian Descent and received a grant of land by the Potawatomi Indians on the 16th of October 1826. Pierre Brouilette was appointed guardian to the minor children of Francois Duguindre and sold the land to John and William Hamilton for one thousand dollars. Receipt signed by Pierre Brouillette. Mark Manlove signed his interest in a bond over to Gillis McBean which was witnessed by W. L. Stuart.
