An account dated 1830-1838 that Daniel Taylor, deceased owed to Hiriam Taylor for 500 bushels of corn @ 20 cents per bushel, money loaned, and a rifle gun for a total of $140. On November 11, 1840 attorney for the plaintiff Thomas, sent action to be entered and the suit was filed by W. R. McCord. On May 11,1841, Thomas, Attorney for the Plaintiff, orders a subpoena to be issued for George Byers, Charles Kelly, Michael Harness, Joseph Byers and John Fields to testify on behalf of the plaintiff. The Sheriff of Knox County issued a subpoena for George Byers, Charles Kelly, Michael Harness, Joseph Byers and John Fields to appear in court on the 2nd Monday of August 1841. The subpoena was executed July 17, 1841 with cost of $7.49 1/2. |
