| Description: |
Civil court case in which Thomas Jourdan was suing Etienne Tromblis for $100.00 damages for a covenant broken. In a contract dated 1802-08-03 made at Vincennes, Tromblis was to deliver 600 weight of good merchantable four to Jourdan by 1802-12-25 and another 600 weight by 1803-05-01. A note states the case was dismissed at the defendants cost. A receipt shows that Tromblis paid Jourdan $36.00 in 1804 as a balance for the undelivered flour. |
