Description: This is the Grand Army of the Republic application of Henry Winter, dated November 26, 1879. Henry first enlisted in April (day omitted) 1864 as Private in Company D 133rd Regiment of the Indiana Volunteer Infantry and was discharged in August (day omitted) 1864. Henry re-enlisted on March 16, 1865 as Private in Company F 11th Regiment of the Indiana Veteran Volunteer Infantry and was discharged on July 6, 1865. Henrys application was recommended by L. Burget. Examining Committee members were J.W. Haley and L. Burget. Applicant Elected, Mustered, Number on Des. Book, Adjutant, and Post Commander information omitted.
