Description: This is the Grand Army of the Republic application of W.H. Rippetoe, dated 187?. W.H. first enlisted on May 4, 1864 as Private in Company D 133rd Regiment of the Indiana Volunteers and was discharged on September 5, 1864. W.H. re-enlisted on March 13, 1865 as Private in Company C 11th Regiment of the Indiana Volunteers and was discharged on July 26, 1865. W.H.s application was recommended by William H. Armstrong. Examining Committee members, Applicant Elected, Mustered, Number on Des. Book, Adjutant, and Post Commander information omitted. NOTE: On Back of application state Morton Post No. 51 Dept of Illinois G.A.R.
