Description: This is the Grand Army of the Republic application of Henry Holler, dated August 28, 1879. Henry enlisted on June 14, 1861 as a Private in Company H 21st Regiment of the Illinois Infantry Volunteers and was discharged on July 5, 1864. Henrys application was recommended by Jay Cummings. Examining Committee members were William H. Armstrong and L. Burget. Applicant Elected, Mustered, Number on Des. Book, Adjutant, and Post Commander information omitted. NOTE: Last name could be Hollen; On Back of application states Morton Post No. 51 of Indiana and Illinois.
