Description: This is the GAR application of Lewis Cor, dated March 12, 1887. Lewis first enlisted on December 15, 1861 as a Private in Company F 62nd Regiment of Illinois and was discharged on May 11, 1864. Lewis re-enlisted on May 12, 1864 as a Private in Company E 11th Regiment of the Veteran Reserve Corp and was discharged on November 14, 1865. Lewiss application was recommended by William Miller. Examining Committee members were D.R. Davis and George E. Palmater. Applicant Elected April 21, 1887. Applicant Mustered, No. on Des. Book, Adjutant, and Post Commander information omitted.
