Description:	This is the Grand Army of the Republic application of Jonathan E. Beckel, dated March 6, 1884. Jonathan first enlisted on November 8, 1861 as a Private in Company B 59th Regiment of the Indiana Infantry and was discharged on December 3, 1862. Jonathan re-enlisted on February 15, 1864 as a Private in Company C 11th Indiana Infantry and was discharged on May 12, 1865. Jonathans application was recommended by George W. Miller. Examining Committee members were John A. Brynn and Hamilton Elliott. Applicant Elected on March 6, 1884. Applicant Mustered, No. on Des. Book, Adjutant, and Post Commander information omitted.
