This doll is a Virginia Turner doll (Melody). Turner Doll, Inc. of Heltonville, Indiana began producing dolls in 1986. They are designed by Virginia Turner. The doll has a marking of Melody Virginia Turner 69/1000 on the body. The body is weighted cloth. The eyes are blue with lashes and the hair is a blonde wig. The mouth is painted. The doll is dressed in an original pink romper. The doll is in good condition and stands 20 inches (50.8 cm) tall. |
