The McCammon Hotel in Sullivan, Indiana. Horses and carriages are in the foreground. The McCammon Hotel formally opened for business on February 14, 1882 with a large luncheon for local business men. The first floor contained hotel offices, residence of Otha Springer, Newcomb & Hartfelter Barber Shop, and J.B. Goodly Plumbing Shop. On August 12, 1908 the building was burned, and the manager was convicted of arson. |
