Description: Photograph of Nathan Hinkles monument in Bethel Cemetary in Hymera, Indiana. Hinkle was a soldier in the Revolutionary War.
Nathan Hinkle--Revolutionary Soldier--Enlisted in Landcaster Co. Penn. April 1776 and served 2 yrs 9 mos under Capt. Henry Crisp Col. Miles Reg as a Private participating in the Battle of Long Island, Brandywine & Paoli. Born June 7, 1749. Died Dec. 25, 1848.
