Description: Cavalry sword carried by Captain Robert H. Crowder throughout the Civil War. Captain Crowder was in charge of Company G of the 11th Indiana Infantry. He was also a doctor of medicine and he practiced in Sullivan, Indiana until his death. This artifact is from the private collection of J.R. Crowder who is the Great-Great-Grandson of Robert Crowder.
