Black and white photograph of a group of people on a trip to Turkey Run from Centenary, Indiana. Two hay wagons were used on the trip, each pulled by horses and mules. The smaller wagon, seen in the back of the group, carried personal belongings and supplies for both the group and the animals. The photograph was printed by The Daily Clintonian, September 5, 1983 with an article titled It was a long way to go, about the excursion that includes the names of the individuals shown in the photograph. This article and photograph are available in the Parke County Community Collection under the newspaper articles title. |
