Johnny Gilmores Lunchroom in Montezuma, Indiana

Description: Picture which shows a small group of people standing outside of Johnny Gilmores Lunch room in Montezuma, Indiana. Taken around 1916 it shows Johnny Gilmore in front with an apron on and a young boy with a bicycle on the left side of the picture. The top of the restaurant has atwo signs one reads fish and the other reads lunch room and there are flags flying along the edge. The sidewalk is lined with barrels which likely contain fresh fish from the Wabash River that were prepared for the customers. There is still a restaurant on this corner today (2006)
