This is a color photograph of the Leatherwood Station covered bridge built in 1899 by Joseph A. Britton taken before it was moved to Billie Creek Village east of Rockville, Indiana. It is a single span with a double burr arch and originally spanned Leatherwood Creek. The bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. This item was donated by John R. and Lucille Coffin. |
