This is a colored postcard showing a drive through Deming Park in Terre Haute, Indiana. In 1921, Demas Deming Jr. sold 155 acres of land to the city of Terre Haute for $155,00. Located on the corner of Fruitridge Avenue and Ohio Boulevard, the park now covers 177 acres and includes a golf course, miniature train and Oakley playground among other amenities. This item was donated by Perry Neet. |
