Catlin covered bridge closed to traffic.

Description: This is a black and white photograph of the Catlin covered bridge prior to its move to the Rockville golf course. The bridge was closed to traffic soon after the first Covered Bridge Festival and funding acquired to save the bridge from destruction. It was moved from its original location on Sunderland Creek north of Catlin to Bill Diddle Creek at the Rockville golf course. Built by Clark McDaniel in 1907, it is a single span burr arch truss bridge. This item was donated by Perry Neet.
