This is a black and white postcard of the log cabin in Beechwood Park in Rockville, Parke County, Indiana. The cabin was brought in as part of the Indiana Centennial celebration in 1916 to house exhibits. To the left is the concession stand which was later moved to Billie Creek Village. In front of the cabin is a bentwood fence, to the rear a split rail one. The post card was sent 1917-04-12 from R. Mull to Maggie Brown of Wakita, OK. This item was donated by Mike Freed. |
