In this letter dated April 25, 1929, Mrs. Rose Figg writes to Margaret Gisolo and her mother to allow Margaret to play on her team in the upcoming season with the American Athletic Girls Baseball Club. She assures Mrs. Gisolo that she will take the special care of Margaret and that the season will start mid-May. In the contract it states that Margaret would be paid 75 dollars per month for playing on the team as well as paying for her room, board, and transportation during the season. It also states that the club will provide Margaret with a complete uniform and she will have to furnish her own baseball bat, shoes, glove, and sweater. |
