The volume is labeled 1838-1854, Knox County. The record on page 419 states “Marriage License granted to Dennis Davis and Margaret Taylor (of Col) both of Knox County Indiana April 12th 1849 Indiana To wit Knox County. This certifies that I joined in Marriage as husband and wife Dennis Davis and Margaret Taylor on the 12th day of April 1849. John Barkman J.P.”
