Knox County probate record for Warner Fisher, 1863

Description:	The probate record for Warner Fisher is housed in Box 68 of the Knox County probate records. It can be found at the Knox County Public Library’s McGrady-Brockman House. On April 13, 1863 Lewis Nugent swears before Henry S. Cauthorn, Clerk that Warner Fisher departed this life about February 20, 1863 and that he left a personal estate valued at less than $200. On April 13, 1863 Lewis Nugent and Martin Nugent were named as administrators to the estate of Warner Fisher. Lewis Nugent and Martin Nugent file a bond with the State of Indiana. Lewis Nugent files a statement that he wished to be discharged from his duties as administrator of the estate of Warner Fisher as administration of the said account had been taken out in Greene County, Indiana.
