Knox County probate record for John Crock, 1844

Description: A folder containing probate records for John Crock is housed in the Probate Records section, Box 30 at the Knox County (IN) Public Library’s McGrady-Brockman House. In a hand-written bond filed January 10, 1848 Martin Anthis is named as the administrator but the name of David Crock appears on a press-printed bond November 19, 1844. In addition to summonses, there is an inventory of the estate and accompanying bill of sale for said items. There’s also is a report of a sale of land near Dicksburgh. In addition, but not appearing in this post, there are administrator’s accounts, lists of court costs and numerous bills and receipts to and from the estate.
