Interior of the Old Cathedral, Vincennes, Indiana

Description: Colored postcard of a painting of the altar of the Old Cathedral Catholic Church, 502 Church Street, Vincennes, Indiana. Shown is the pillars, the altar steps, the altar, the pulpit, and the three murals. The middle mural, the Crucifixion, was painted by European artist Lamprecht. The pillars are huge sycamore trees covered in masonry. Church was erected in 1826, and is used daily.
