Description:	 Construction Projects. This series includes proposals for new buildings and requests forremodeling already existing facilities. It also has working papers on long term planning. ISU Foundation. This series includes statistics about Foundation campaigns, specialprojects involving the foundation, presentations to prospective donors, and workingpapers on creating and pursuing campaigns. Government Relations. This series includes presentations to the Commission for HigherEducation and the state legislature, reports from government bodies, correspondencebetween members of the government and President Benjamin, and internalcommunication between the president and administration officials tasked with workingwith the government. Interdepartmental Communications. This series, the largest in the collection, containsdata, directives, and reports shared between the various administrative and academicunits on the campus and the office of the president. It also includes communication andworking papers with the Board of Trustees. Highlights include a proposal to create a lawschool at ISU and the Distinctive Programs initiative. International Affairs. This series details the universitys and the presidents personalinvolvement with global outreach, focusing on China and Morocco. Public Relations. This series details the focus on community engagement andrecruitment of students and donors. Special attention is paid to interactions betweenthe Wabash Valley and ISU. Published Materials. This series has examples of books and published materialsproduced or concerned with ISU. Grants. This series details work with the Lilly Endowment and the Focus Indiana grants,among other grants. Speeches. This series has copies and working drafts of the speeches given by PresidentBenjamin from 2000 to 2008. Departmental Profiles. This series is a collection of data describing the average studentand their experiences by academic units at the University. Memorabilia. This series has a few mementoes given to President Benjamin during histenure. Capital Budget Request for 2005. This series was kept separate from the othergovernment relations and budget requests because it was accessioned before the mainbody of Benjamins papers and was arranged separately. It covers budgets and capitalrequest from 2003 to 2006 Searches. This series was kept separate from the interdepartmental communicationseries because it was accession before the main body of Benjamins papers and wasarranged separately. It covers major administrative searches from President Benjaminstenure. Sycamore Bowling. This series contains a special request to allow the ISU bowling clubto compete in the Intercollegiate Bowling Championships. Newspaper Clippings. This covers the time period when President Moore announced hisresignation, the search for the new president, and the inauguration of PresidentBenjamin. It is removed from published materials as it was accession before the mainbody of Benjamins papers.
