Ifyou think so just ask any Senior who was in theAssociation Rooms on Friday evening, March18.They were met at the door by Pat andBridget, who surely were true representativesof the Emerald Isle. AVhile the guests wTereassembling Mike (Mr. Carnahan) required eachperson present to kiss the Blarney stone, thusloosening their tongues for the evening and,begorra, if you had heard the jabbering thatensued there would have been no mistake as tothe value of the old myth concerning the Blarney stone.In order that tongues might rest Miss Rine-hart and Miss Steepleton furnished music andreadings which were enthusiastically receivedby the assembled Irish. Partners for the evening were chosen by giving each man the end ofa long green cord which was extended throughthe door to a girl in the next room.Refreshments were served in the dining roomby faithful hod carriers of the upper class, R.AV. Hindman and AV. H. Carnahan. Greencaps to be worn during the evening wTere thefirst contents of the hod. The first course consisted of sandwiches daintily garnished withgreen, and tied with ribbon, olives and pickles,and the staid old Irish spud stuffed withsalad. The second course was shamrock icecream and cake. Green mints topped off thisdainty spread.A hunt for shamrocks and Irish flags followed in the Association Rooms, and prizeswere awarded to Nelle Ageng and Floyd Minerfor being the most diligent searchers.Faculty members then vied with each otherin telling Irish jokes.The Senior girls basket ball team deservesmuch praise for the excellent work it has doneduring the season just closed. They went intothe winter games with a determination to win.Class games were played in the girls gym. Ina game with the Sophomores they won with ascore of 16 to 8. When they met the Juniorsthe result was 15 to 7 in favor of the Seniors.In the next game they lost to the CollegeCourse, due to the excellent playing of the college girls. The championship is a tie betweenthe Seniors and the College Course to be playedoff as soon as the effects of the proclamationof vaccination will permit.The team: Forwards, Hazel Neal, MarySheets

treasurer,Miss Malott.THE JUNIORS.The Juniors during the last month havebeen compartively inactive. It is but the calmthat precedes the storm. AVith the opening ofthe spring term many Juniors came home andthe work which will be done in the next monthwill command the attention of even the Seniors.They are expecting much from us and theyshall not be disappointed. AVe have manytimes boasted what we shall do. The time hasarrived when those promises must be fulfilled.We are face to face with the first Annualwhich commands our moral and financial support. Every Junior is entitled to a representation in this Annual, not only as an honor tohimself, but as an obligation to the Annualnot to be evaded. It is but another step untilwe place ourselves in the limelight that now
