Bruner, of Staunton, who is attending this school, was slightly injured inthe Vandalia wreck, AVednesday, January 8,when train No. 8 telescoped into passenger No.20 in the Vandalia train sheds. Mr. Brunerwas rendered unconscious by a blow on thehead, and received severe bruises on the arms,but he is now back in school apparently nonethe wTorse for wear.Miss Letitia Ferree, 12, has taken the placeof Miss Laura Woody as primary teacher inthe Collett Park School. Miss Ferree has beensupplying in the city schools.Miss Laura AVoody, of the class of 1909,w7as married recently to Murray Johns, of thiscity. Miss AVoody was primary teacher atthe Collett Park School. The couple will livein the city.Miss Nellie Hendricks spent a few dayswith friends at Bloomingdale.The Chicago Group: AArilliam D. Reeves, instructor in mathematics in the UniversityHigh School at Chicago University, announcesthe birth of a baby daughter.Raleigh Seberling is also instructing in theUniversity High School at Chicago.Chester Zechiel is studying law in ChicagoUniversity.Bernard Schockel is studying in the department of Geology at Chicago University, and isalso doing some instructing during the springterms.Miss Maud Linkenhoker is continuing herstudy of languages at the University of Chicago, where she took her masters degree lastsummer.Mr. and Mrs. Charles Montgomery are inschool at Chicago University. Mr. Montgomery is in the department of Botany.
