They thought theother classmen would interfere but no oppositionwas offered except that the delivery of some ofthe refreshments was intercepted. .The trustees of the Normal School have beenlooking for a suitable location for the Athleticpark. A number of desirable places have beenfound. It is understood that preparation willbegin as soon as a site is chosen so it can be usedfor the athletic work in the spring.Prof. Sandison (calling the roll). Mr.Warner. Warner suddenly awakening, arose andbegan a long drawn-out discussion of (1) undera, under 2, p. 40 of the blue book.Charlie Miller, a pupil in the Training School,was found in the mens gymnasium in the act ofrifling the pockets of the trousers left hangingoutside the lockers. Students have missed moneyduring the last two terms in amounts varyingfrom a few cents to ten dollars. Many men inthe gymnasium had suspicioned the Miller boybut no proof could be found until some of themen, who had lost money, hid in a secluded spotand caught the juvenile lawbreaker in the act.The students congratulate themselves on theirfortune in finding the culprit as they think thiswill end thieving in the gymnasium.A new dancing club is being organized to beginnext term, under the direction of Prof. McDan-iels.Miss Anderson (to Freshman.)—Did you haveany toasts at your banquet last night?Freshman (hesitating.)—Well, no, I didnt seeany.Student (going into Physical Lab.) —-Goodmorning Mr. Gillum.Prof. Gillum (absent mindedly.)—Yes, I believe that would be right.Bert Beasley, 05, assistant principal at Hymera, stopped with Normal friends recently. Hewas on his way to Indianapolis to take an examination for advanced standing in the Indiana LawSchool.Mr. Kemp—Why should a girl named Anniemarry a boy named Bennic ?Class—(Laughter, but no response.)Mr. Kemp—She will be Bonnie-fitted and hewould be Annie-mated.On the evening of March 14th Miss Parr gavea reception to the Senior members of the choir.In all there were seventeen Seniors present. He has given up his place in the Vin-cenncs schools and accepted a position in a railroad office in Chicago.Colonel Brown, the bird and bee man, stoppedat the Normal for a few hours March 6th, on hisway to Vincennes.
