O. Koch and Millspaugh.FORUM.The program committee is setting forth a
very interesting line of work and every mem¬
ber is doing his best in making the meetings a
real source of information as well as a pleasant
hour socially.Quite a few of the members were away dur¬
ing Thanksgiving vacation to spend the holi¬

nell, Ind., visited friends in Terre Haute Nov.

Forum society. Mr. Chester Like, The
Stylesville Banker, was in Terre Haute. Nov.
29.It is the Forums ambition to have a house
for the coming term. To have a house means a
permanent home for the society, and a head¬
quarters for both active and other members. We all know what a good time the graduate
members of the Forum are arranging for us for
December 23 at Indianapolis, so let us all be
right there and show them how much we ap¬
preciate their efforts.PHILOMA THE AN.The Philomathean Literary Society during
the past month has taken up the study of Ar¬
nold Bennet and his works in general. Special
attention has been given to Old Wives Tales,
of which Miss Anna Cox gave a very interest¬
ing review. Realizing that Variety is the
spice of life, the society has added both foreign
and domestic events to the weekly program.
Moreover, in the future meetings, some time
will be given to Parliamentary Drill. The
meetings are now held on Saturday morning
instead of Wednesday afternoon.Misses Norma Wilson and Hazel Shafer
have become members of this society. Both are
very capable girls and will, no doubt, enter in¬
to all work with a spirit of enthusiasm.Too low they build who build beneath the
stars.—Young.
