at $3.25 to $4.50 per week, according to quality of accommoda¬
tions.A number of boarding clubs have been organized, in which
good boarding is secured at $2.50 per week, or less. The facili¬
ties for this kind of boarding are amj^le.WHAT TO DO ON ARRIVING.Any one coming as a student, and unacquainted in the city,
can report himself at the Normal Building at any seasonable
hour, where some one will be found to give needed information
in regard to boarding.Students arriving by night trains, will find suitable accommo¬
dations at the Terre Haute House and the National House,
which are on the line of the street railroad.TIME OP THE COURSE OP INSTRUCTION.The course of instruction can be completed by the average
student in eight terms by abler students in less time.It is not necessary that the student should prosecute his studies during consecutive terms. He may attend one or more terms, stop to teach a term or more, then continue his studies.BOOKS.Students should bring with them such standard text- books as they have on the common school branches, for the purpose of reference.LIBRARIES.There are good reference libraries in the school to which students have access without charge.To know how to use books is an important part of the teach¬ ers education. Attention is given to this matter. |
