Vanishing hitchhiker, Veracruz, Mexico

Description: Luis Alberto Gonzalez Robless transcribed variant of the Vanishing Hitchhiker urban legend as collected by Ashley N. Holt. In this account, a cab driver in Mexico picks up a woman who asks for help because someone is trying to harm her. He takes her to another location, and she invites him to come spend more time with her the next day. The cab driver goes back to the house the next day, but an elderly woman answers the door and explains that her daughter was killed ten years ago by drug addicts. She also explains that the cab driver is not the first person to drop off her daughters ghost.
