Description: |
A transcribed variant of the Vanishing Hitchhiker urban legend as collected by Debbie Robinson from an anonymous female informant. In this account, two boys on their way home from college come across a woman hitchhiking in a formal dress. They give her a ride and one of the boys coats to keep warm, but later realize they forgot to get the coat back. They return to the home to retrieve it only for the girls mother to explain that the girl has been dead for some time. The boys go to the cemetery to investigate and discover the coat lying across the girls grave. |
