Vanishing hitchhiker, Sullivan County, Indiana

Description: Scott Deans transcribed variant of the Vanishing Hitchhiker urban legend as collected by Neal Woods. In this account, a young man sees a girl walking alone at night and offers her a ride home. He gives her his jacket to keep warm, but he realizes he forgot to get it back from her after dropping her off. When he returns to her home to retrieve it, the girls parents inform him that their daughter has been dead for ten years.
