Description: |
Janis Biddles transcribed variant of the Vanishing Hitchhiker urban legend as collected by Mary Susan Wood. In this account, a woman is hit by a car while hitchhiking and dies. People now claim that during certain times of the year, the same woman is seen hitchhiking on the same road. In addition, it is said you must pick the woman up or risk getting in a wreck within the next mile. |
