Margaret Barnards transcribed variant of the Vanishing Hitchhiker urban legend as collected by Jacque Burbank. In this account, two men pick up a woman who is hitchhiking and offer to drive her home. Once they arrive at her house, she disappears so they knock on the door and asked her mother about her. Her mother informs the two men that the girl has been dead for five years. |
