Letter to Eugene V. Debs, 6/2/1913. Tells Eugene V. Debs that she is sorry that it has taken her so long to thank him for the help he provided in helping the oppressed people of West Virginia. Says that her anti-slavery father taught her to scorn oppression. Remarks that the Supreme Court is a disgrace. Expresses the hope that in the future Eugene V. Debs will get all of the cheer and comfort he so much deserves. |
