Letter to Eugene V. Debs on Utah State Prison letterhead, 4/23/1925. Writes that he is sending Eugene V. Debs a horse hair belt which he made during his spare time. Remarks that the prison does not provide employment for the inmates but the warden does allow some of them to send article they make to people who will sell them at a fair price. Says that any amount Eugene V. Debs can raise for the belt would be appreciated. Asks that if Eugene V. Debs sees Lena Morrow Lewis to tell her that he gives his regards. |
