Says that he it was unfortunate that because of his illness Eugene V. Debs had to drop his work with the Peoples College. Tells Eugene V. Debs that he is presently trying to bring railroad workers all over the country under the roof of one organization. Mentions that he is organizing railroad workers based upon the principles of Tom Mann. Explains that his goal is to antagonize as little as possible and persist in educational work. Asks that Eugene V. Debs give him suggestions as to the best ways to carry out his plans. Also asks that Eugene V. Debs tell him where he might be able to get a copy of John Swintons STRIKING FOR LIFE.
