Writes that she has an interest in Eugene V. Debs because of the principles for which he stands. Remarks that she sympathizes with Eugene V. Debs cause because it is a cause that has been greatly lied about. Informs Eugene V. Debs that she is 17 years old. Says that she is deeply concerned with socialism and has been reading quite a bit about it lately. Writes that most of her fellow students in high school have a wrong view of socialism. Tells Eugene V. Debs that these students are misinformed about socialism because they read about it in the newspapers. Expresses the hope that all political prisoners will soon be released. |
