Mentions that the first Australian edition of ADVERSARY IN THE HOUSE was sold out in 10 days. Says that TIME has asked him to write a cover story about Earl Warren. Mentions that Earl Warrens father lost his job in 1894 on the Southern Pacific at the time of the Pullman Strike. Tells Cooper that Earl Warren enjoyed reading ADVERSARY IN THE HOUSE immensely. Remarks that he is making progress on his new book. Writes that there is someone else in New York City, New York who is attacking him. Includes an article titled Biographies I Would Like To Write with references to Gertrude Debs, Eleanor Roosevelt, Earl Warren, Risley Major, and Norman Thomas. |
