Writes that the book will appeal to both old-timers and new. Assures Whitney that he will read the book as soon as his eyes get better. Informs Whitney that the governor of Illinois during the Pullman Strike was John P. Altgeld, of whom there were none with greater moral courage to fight for Truth and Justice. |
