Description: Letter to Theodore Debs, 10/24/1921. Writes that he is glad to know that Eugene V. Debs possesses a comfortable home. Says that Eugene V. Debs modesty prevents his friends from knowing all that they should about him. Remarks that now that a peace treaty will soon be ratified that Eugene V. Debs release will come soon. Tells Theodore Debs that to make sure that Eugene V. Debs gets everything that he needs when he gets out of prison that he is sending him a check for $200. Writes that although he is known to most people as a capitalist that he will not publicly state that he is sending this check. Asks that Theodore Debs send his regards to Eugene V. Debs. Includes a note from Theodore Debs saying that Todds check was returned back to him on 10/29/1921.
