Remarks that he has received a telegram from Paul Blanshard saying that there are 200,000 strikers in Shanghai, China alone. Tells Eugene V. Debs that Paul Blanshard urges the American labor movement to send relief to help the workers of China. Informs Eugene V. Debs that he thinks that the Socialist Party should endorse this plea for relief and demand that the American military presence in China be withdrawn.
