Debs that Kate Richards OHare has gotten out a fine edition of the NATIONAL RIP-SAW. Says that there is a general feeling that Warren Harding will do something soon. Writes that the conservatives who are keeping Eugene V. Debs in prison are doing nothing but making Eugene V. Debs a martyr. Remarks that he is currently working on a book titled JESUS THE PHILOSOPHER. Mentions that the last time that he saw Eugene V. Debs was in 1912 when they spoke to 10,000 people at the Boston Arena. Says that at this meeting Eugene V. Debs told some young hot-heads from Lawrence, Massachusetts that violence was would only play into the hands of their enemies. |
