Letter to Eugene V. Debs, 07/17/1914. Says that he reserved the Hippodrome for Eugene V. Debss meeting on behalf of the Church of the Social Revolution for 09/13/1914. Writes that upon securing the hall the NATIONAL RIP SAW cancelled the engagement. Asks that Eugene V. Debs speak on his own account. Says that the Church of the Social Revolution is a bona fide Socialist Church and that the organization is not an aggregation of Utopian or reactionary Socialists. Includes a copy of a letter from Eugene V. Debs dated 07/08/1914 which says that he would be happy to speak for Bouck White at the Hippodrome. Also includes a copy of the contract between Fieldman and the Shubert-Anderson Company for the rental of the Hippodrome for 09/13/1914. |
