Monitoring report on desegregation/reorganization in the South Bend Community School Corporation

Description: A 1982 report from the League of Women Voters on the progress of the South Bend Community School Corporations desegregation after the first year of implementation. It includes answers to questions put to elementary schools principals. The questions document Black student participation in extra-curricular activities such as sports and band, classroom racial balance, transportation issues, and parent, teacher, and administrator attitudes. Includes list of possible items for further study.
