Description: Art work by George Winter. Indian Burial (written in pencil, lower right). Inscribed, verso, lower center: Indian Bural Scene No.1 near Lake Kee-waw-nay- Indiana (written in pencil). Long single file of women in Indian dress following bier carried by four women; led by single woman. Two men, one mounted on horse, watch from side of path. Circa 1837-1838.
