Description of the substantial buildings, the fertile soil, and the fine waterworks and rivers. He stayed with Dr. Fitch, and met Judge Biddle and the celebrated Indian painter George Winter, from whom he bought some paintings. The Repository is a very fine publication, well worth reading. |
