Carlson (?), whom he can pay for them, along with an additional scene which he may wish to buy; detailed descriptions of the paintings: view upon the Wabash with a group of Pottawattami Indians (history of Indian title to the area shown; 1839 emigration, accompanied with force and the burning of their homes); The Prairie Scene, The Scene Chepaltapec or Kehe-man-i-tou Se-pe-wah (ar ravine and creek, interesting rock formation, near Logansport on the land of Joseph Barron); a legend concerning Chepaltapec, told by Swaw-go.
