Description: Prominent on the northeast corner of East Washington and North Pennsylvania Streets is the I. O. O. F. or Odd Fellows Hall, built in 1854 from plans by architect Francis Costigan. The dome was designed by D. A. Bohlen. It is occupied on the first level by the Indianapolis National Bank. Also visible is the Aetna Building (21-25 North Pennsylvania Street) and the ____ Building with a clock sign at 50 East Washington Street occupied by W. P. Bingham and Company (watches and jewelry) and Moses Optician. Several horse-drawn carriages and streetcars are on the dirt streets.The view looks northeast from the window of Salter and Judds photograph gallery. In the foreground is their sign reading: Salter & Judd, MezzoTint Photographers, 45. The yellow stereoview mount is printed on the front: Published by Salter & Judd, Mezzotint Photographers / Indiana Exposition, 1873 / 45 East Washington St., Indianapolis. It is handnumbered 19.
